  • Social security has tried to educate people about the bill they get. They are saked to read it and question what they don't understand and report any errors. They have programs set up to report to. The families of the elderly need to do this too. Read your statement.

  • The key to this is education. Social security has been trying to help us learn to read the bills sent to them and to question what we don't understand or get. Families need to do this also especially for the edlerly that can't. If we all report this it helps.

  • If someone came into my home (an enclosed porch is considered inside) I would not hesitate to shoot. That being said a neighborhood watch patrol is NOT a policeman. If there is a problem they are to call the police and stay in their vehicle until police arrive.

  • It isn't necessarly the program. Through the years medicare has trusted dovtors to make the right decisions for their patients like my grandmother. My mother on the other hand has seen doctors try to push services she neither need nor wanted.

  • Stanone, I also have to tell you that the biggest problem cities and counties are facing in regards to the union pension and insurance is that when they gave these rights to the workers they failed to fund them.

  • If you had their pay and insider trading tips like they do you could become a millionaire too. Plus they have all the money that lobbists and others give them. many who were first elected to congress or the senate had a middle net worth but 99.9% leave there a millionaire.

  • I live in a small town in a rural county. We have 3 towns in our county with fire departments. We in town pay taxes to support our fire fighters which are volenteer. The people in the unincorporated areas pay $500 a year for fire protection. This is split between all three fire departments.
