  • If you had their pay and insider trading tips like they do you could become a millionaire too. Plus they have all the money that lobbists and others give them. many who were first elected to congress or the senate had a middle net worth but 99.9% leave there a millionaire.

  • I live in a small town in a rural county. We have 3 towns in our county with fire departments. We in town pay taxes to support our fire fighters which are volenteer. The people in the unincorporated areas pay $500 a year for fire protection. This is split between all three fire departments.

  • I would not vote for anyone who signed a pledge to Grover Norquist. That means that person does not represent the people he/she was elected to represent. I look at that act as treason. My representative and senator signed that pledge and I will be working very hard to make sure everyone knows it.

  • Rick- Most of us never intended for it to be either. My kids had that same attitude until they saw first hand what happened to my retirement savings. Now they are grateful that social security is there and they realize how quick you can go from ok to broke.

  • That area of town is not new. The houses were built in the 1950's and 60's. It is possible that someone died in that house at some point in time. I do know that a cancer patient who is at the point of death has and leaves a smell.

  • Clinton did not write nor negociate NAFTA. Reagan did. It passed the house and senate and Clinton signed it.

  • This has been coming on for years and both parties are to blame. It goes back to Ronald Reagan and forward from NAFTA. We used to have manufacturing jobs to help pull us out of a recession but now the biggest part of manufacturing is gone.
